In the latter part of 2001, the band took part in a number of parades, including the Brentwood Torchlight Carnival, the Hornchurch Torchlight Carnival, the HDTC Reunion and the Grays Remembrance Parade.  Those that saw the band agreed that the new members have done a fantastic job, as many of them had neither marched or played an instrument 6 months earlier.  The dedication of the instructors was also evident.  The band has also agreed to take part in the following events (*not confirmed).
